R&C said it would cost over $10,000 to repair the unit. Upon discussion with Robert and his contractor friend as well as our architect we will look at multiple avenues.
1. 2nd opinion on fix: Contractor has a friend who is extramly good at rough fixes on units, backed up by the maintenance department at work. Everyday company’s are not good with complex fixes.
2. Architect is sending his engineers out to look at all units. This was to look at it for the new building but moving now in case we have to replace the unit. Want to make sure it fits into the building project.
3. Portable unit: given 2 recommendations on rental places to rent portable ac units until we have a working system.
